About Richard Bell
Richard Bell was born in Western Queensland in 1953. An Australian Aboriginal artist, he became known after winning the 2003 Telstra National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Award. His Western Desert paintings frequently have a political slant. He has exhibited widely.
