Born in New South Wales in 1902, Helen Ogilvie studied at the National Gallery School, Melbourne. A graphic artist and painter, she held two exhibitions at the Leicester Gallery and has shown widely in Australia. Ogilvie was the first director of the Peter Bray Gallery, Melbourne.
