Born Carnarvon 1964, Australian Aboriginal artist Loretta Egan is a proud Yamatji woman who speaks the Wajarri language. She moved to Alice Springs in 1981 where she was given permission to create dot paintings. One of her was works presented to Queen Elizabeth on her visit to Perth, and she was later invited to exhibit in London. She is now based in Toodyay, 85 km north east of Perth..
