Simon Fieldhouse was born in Sydney in 1956 and educated at the University of Sydney where he studied Arts/Law, and on completion privately studied art. He specialises in painting large pen and watercolours of historic Australian buildings, and has exhibited commercially since 1990 in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart Perth and Adelaide. Simon Fieldhouse has also completed a series of works depicting the lighthouses of Australia. In February-March 2002 he and Margaret Early were in a sesquicentenary exhibition at the Sir Hermann Black Gallery, Sydney University.
