About Maurice Namatjira
Born in 1939, Maurice is the younger son of Australian Aboriginal artist Albert Namatjira and, like the other artists of the Arunta Tribe, paints watercolour landscapes of the Central Australian area in the style of the Hermannsburg School. He died in 1977.
