Born in England, Polly MacCallum arrived in Australia in 1960. She was awarded a Diploma of Art from the City Art Institute in Sydney in 1971 and an MA from the same institution in 1986. A painter, sculptor and collage artist she has exhibited in Sydney, regional centres from the 1980s to the 1990s. She was awarded a Visual Arts Board Studio Grant in 1983.
