About Kushana Bush
Bush was born in Dunedin and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the School of Art, Otago Polytechnic, in 2004. She then lectured at the school for four years and has been painting full time in her Dunedin studio for the last two years. She was awarded the 2011 Frances Hodgkins Fellowship.
We have records of art auction sales by Kushana Bush from 2008 and in total 67 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 38 (57%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $27,507 for Cock Fight sold by Art+Object in August 2022. This year 3 works have been offered for sale. Works by Kushana Bush are held by the National Gallery of Victoria, Queensland Art Gallery and a further two major public national galleries (see list below).
