About Kenneth Morrin Ballantyne
Born in Gisborne, New Zealand in 1885, Kenneth Ballantyne studied at Auckland and Wellington Technical Colleges. Known for his etchings, monotypes and woodcuts he was also a political cartoonist and illustrator and painted in oil and watercolour. He moved to the USA in 1914, living in Chicago and then New York where he worked as an illustrator untill his death in 1961.
