A New Zealand artist, Edward Lyndon was active in the latter half of the nineteenth century. He worked as an auctioneer in Napier for some time in the late 1860s, and as an amateur watercolourist, painted scenes of Napier, Auckland and Southland from the late 1860s to the 1890s.
