Born in Perth in 1949, Leon Pericles studied extensively in Perth and in England. A painter, printmaker and teacher, he has taught at tertiary level in Perth. He first exhibited in Perth in 1970 and since then has exhibited in all Australian capitals and Japan, and has won numerous awards.
