About Joanna Lefroy Capelle
Born in Western Australia in 1946, Joanna Capelle began painting in earnest in 1973 after working as a newspaper artist and freelance illustrator in Perth and overseas. Known as a figurative painter and illustrator, she has held many exhibitions in Western Australia, and also exhibited in Sydney in 1984.
