About Wilfred Asplin
Born in New South Wales in 1928, Wilfred Asplin worked as a theatrical stage designer from 1948 to 1960. From 1956 he taught art and became art master of the Sydney Correspondence School in 1974. His paintings, mostly in acrylic, are inspired by his interest in music and the theatre.
We have records of art auction sales by Wilfred Asplin from 1987 and in total 13 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 7 (54%) were sold. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2016.
