Jeremy Holton was born in Dunstable, England in 1940. He graduated from the University of London, and had a diverse career, before studying for a Diploma of Art at the Claremont School of Art, Perth, Western Australia. He established his professional artistic career in 1994 with his first solo exhibition of Pilbara landscapes at Woodside Petroleum in Perth and Karratha, Western Australia. His studio is situated in the eastern hills of Perth, Western Australia and he also maintains a studio in a small village in north east Thailand, close to the Mekong River and the Lao border.
