An Anmatyerre Aboriginal painter from the Papunya region of central Australia, Kaapa Tjampitjinpa paints in acrylic. He has exhibited in Sydney, and his work is represented in the Australian National Gallery and state galleries of Victoria and Western Australia. He was born abour 1925 and died in 1989.
