Born in Melbourne in 1943, Pippin Drysdale and her family moved to Perth in 1946. She studied ceramics at Perth Technical School, then at Curtin University of Technology where she complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1986. A potter and teacher, she has exhibited since 1981 and held over 50 solo exhibitions in Australia and internationally, including in Paris, Osaka, Boston, Brussels and London. In 2020 Pippin Drysdale was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Arts by Curtin University.
