About Rona Ngaio Fleming
Born 8 March 1896 in Christchurch, N.Z., Rona Fleming (nee Thompson) studied at the Canterbury School of Art. A landscape painter in oil, she exhibited with Hays Art Competitions, Auckland Society of Arts, Canterbury Society of Arts, the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts from 1935 to 1967 and with The Group from 1946 to 1948.
