A Victorian artist active from around 1853 to 1857, Edwin Stocqueler was a topographical artist who painted in watercolour. He is best known for a huge diorama, now lost, comprising 70 paintings of the area from Melbourne and Bendigo to Goulburn and the Upper Murray. Also known as Edwin Roper.
