Born in Fiji in 1951, Frederick Frizelle arrived in Australia in 1953. He studied at the Julian Ashton School in Sydney and in Yorkshire, UK. A representational painter with expressionist tendencies, Frizzell has exhibited in New South Wales since 1980. He began painting full time in 1988.
