About Adrian Mauriks
Born in Holland in 1942, Adrian Mauriks studied sculpture extensively at the Victorian College of the Arts, later lecturing in the subject at tertiary level in Victoria and Queensland. He has exhibited his work - generally symbolic sculptures in steel and timber - since 1974. He was a finalist in the 2006 Helen Lempriere National Sculpture Award at Werribee Park and he was shortlisted for the 2013 Mt Buller Sculpture Award.
