Born in Melbourne in 1944, Peter Rosman, who is a sculptor, studied architecture at the University of Melbourne 1963-67 and art at St Martin's School of Art in London 1968-70. He began exhibiting his work in 1976 and since then has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. He won the Wollongong City Art Prize and received Visual Arts Boards grants in 1975 and 1978.
