Born in Lismore, N S W in 1941 David Harrison studied agriculture at college and worked until 1968 when he became a full time artist. He travelled around Australia for five years, painting as he went. He is proficient in watercolours and pastel as he is in oils and acrylic. He has now become known for his limited edition bronze sculptures. He has his own gallery in Ballina, New South Wales established in 1978 and representing a mixed group of professional artists, from traditional through to modern and contemporary.
