Born in Java in 1930, Frank Lambert arrived in Australia at the age of 15. A sculptor and teacher, he has had no formal training. In 1972 he was appointed teacher of sculpture at the Queensland Institute of Technology and College of Arts. The winner of a number of awards, Lambert has received commissions for large works such as at James Cook University.
