Born in Scotland in 1919, Cameron Bannerman studied in Glasgow and Paris, and worked as an art teacher and production artist for films before his arrival in Sydney in 1962. A painter, sculptor and teacher, he has exhibited in group shows and has been a finalist in the Art Gallery of New South Wales Archibald Prize in 1965 and 1969.
