Martin Trenwith was an Auckland businessman and amateur artist, who exhibited his paintings, mostly watercolours, with the Auckland Society of Arts from 1885 to 1926. he was a member of the Mahlstick Club in Auckland, which brought members together for life drawing, operating from 1899 to 1903.
