Born in New South Wales, Pearl Sheldon studied in Sydney with Lister Lister and in London. She paints landscapes and interior scenes in oil and watercolour and exhibited at the Royal Academy in London and at the Paris Salon. Pearl Sheldon was a finalist in the Art Gallery of New South Wales Archibald Prize in 1945, and the Wynne Prize in 1952 and 1954. She died aged 103.
