About Les Burcher
Born in Sydney in 1922, after war service Burcher studied at East Sydney Technical College. He became Senior head teacher at the National Art School and the School of Art & Design in Sydney. A painter in Romantic style in oil and acrylics, he held numerous solo shows in Sydney, Gosford and Wollongong.
