Born on the Gold Coast in Queensland in 1962 Scott Redford in a multi-media artis: painter, photographer, sculptore video and installations. - he has exhibited in the east coast capitals and regional centres, as well as overseas in Singapore, Thailand, UK and New Zealand since his first solo exhibition in Brisbane in 1986. He lives and works in Brisbane and Berlin.
We have records of art auction sales by Scott Redford from 1996 and in total 67 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 43 (64%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $9,200 for Untitled (Hero Boy Dies) sold by Phillips Auctioneers in May 1999. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2021. Works by Scott Redford are held by the National Gallery of Victoria, Queensland Art Gallery and a further seven major public national galleries (see list below).
