Born in Germany in 1918, Inge King is a sculptor who studied extensively in Berlin, London and Glasgow and on study tours of Europe. She married painter and printmaker, Graham King and they arrived in Australia in 1951. Working as both a jewellery maker and sculptor, Inge King made her name as a modernist sculptor using welded steel.
