About Jan Davis
Born in Victoria in 1952, Jan Davis was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma of Art 1981 from the Phillip Institute in Melbourne. A printmaker, lithographer and teacher, she has exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane since 1981. In 1992 she was awarded a Visual Arts Board Grant and won the Fremantle Print Prize in 1995. In the 1990s she was appointed Associate Professor and Head of School of Contemporary Art at Southern Cross University, Lismore.
