About Jason Monet
Born in London in 1938, Jason Monet is distantly related to Claude Monet. He is an expressionist painter and sculptor who exhibited portraits of theatrical celebrities in London, New York and Malta before his arrival in Australia in 1978. Since then he has shown his wood sculptures, paintings and Maltese limestone carvings in Melbourne.
