About Frances Jones
Born in Sydney in 1923, Jones studied at the East Sydney Technical College and the Julian Ashton School from 1940 to 1945. A naive painter of flowers and still life, her first solo exhibition was in Sydney in 1968 and this was followed by occasional exhibitions in Brisbane and Melbourne until 1983.
