Born in Victoria in 1924, Kenneth Jack studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He served as a draughtsman for the RAAF during World War II, and after war held several teaching appointments until 1968 when he became a full time painter. He frequently painted country towns and western landscapes, studies which reflect his training as a draughtsman.

Kenneth Jack is one of the most prolific of the artists listed in our database, with the number of works offered for sale by auction since 1970 of 1,776, of which 1,244 (70%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $74,750 for Late Afternoon Perth Western Australia sold by GFL Fine Art in June 2009. This year 27 works have been offered for sale.
