Born in London in 1935, Douglas Chambers is an abstract painter and teacher. He was awarded a Graduate Diploma from the Royal College of Art in 1961. He migrated to Perth, Australia about 1970 and became a lecturer at the Western Australian Institute of Technology, now Curtin University of Technology, in 1978. Chambers has exhibited widely in the United Kingdom and in Western Australia.
