Born in the United Kingdom in 1945, Nigel Lazenby arrived in Australia in 1955. He studied in Launceston, Tasmania and qualified as a high school art teacher. Lazenby exhibited his paintings in Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney from 1982, and has won several painting awards.
