Terry Cousins was born in England in 1931 and immigrated to Australia in the 1960s. He worked in a variety of professions before dedicating his life to art full-time. He paints in bas-relief (built up, sculpted and then painted) giving a 3D effect. He has been exhibiting successfully in Australia since 1979.
