Born in Wellington, New Zealand in 1964, working mainly in acrylics, Bruce Hunt is known as a landscape painter. He attended Wellington College from 1978 to 1982 and Victoria University in 1983-84. Hunt has been practicing as a full time artist since 1983 and held his first solo exhibition in 1984 in Wellington. Based in Otago, he exhibits regularly throughout New Zealand.
