Born in Turkey of Austrian parents in 1936, Huber moved to Austria in 1940 and arrived in Australia in 1955. She is principally a self-taught artist and has exhibited her work, mostly traditional landscapes in oil, in New South Wales and Victoria. She was awarded the Drummoyne Traditional Landscape Prize in 1978.

The highest price recorded for the artist is $2,988 for Long Shadows of Crudine sold by Bonhams & Goodman in July 2006.
