About Chris Beecroft
Born in Launceston in 1953, Chris Beecroft studied art teaching and visual arts in Tasmania. A sculptor and teacher, he held his first solo exhibition in 1977. Beecroft has won several awards and his work is represented in Tasmania's state gallery, in regional and institutional collections.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 1996.
