Born in Richmond, New South Wales in 1928, Laurie Paul studied art at seminars and summer schools under Professot Bisietta in Sydney, and at the Universities of New England and Queensland under Rapotec, Orban, Reddington, Laycock and Daws. She is an abstract expressionist and surrealist painter in oil and mixed media, and has exhibited in the eastern state capitals and in the USA. Laurie Paul held numberous solo exhibitions in major cities in Australia.
