About Piet Noest
Born in Holland in 1938, Piet Noest studied in Europe before his arrival in Australia in 1981. A lecturer at the Queensland College of Arts, Noest became known for his paintings of abstract expressionist style landscapes. Noest has exhibited widely in Europe and Queensland, and his work is represented in institutional and private collections.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 1998.
