George Bourne was an English topographical and marine artist, born in 1858, who arrived in Fremantle in 1876. Active c1897 to c1907, his scenes of Western Australia include watercolour depictions of Bunbury and Albany Harbours, sailing vessels and steamships. He lived both in Albany and Esperance Bay, and was later Harbour Master at Bunbury.
