About William J. Kelly
Born in Buffalo New York in 1943 William Kelly arrived in Australia in 1968. He studied at Philadelphia College of Art c1968 and National Gallery of Victoria School. A teacher, painter and printmaker he has had numerous exhibitions in Australia since 1969 and in the United States and Italy. He was awarded a Fullbright Scholarship in the USA in 1968 and Myer Foundation Grant. He was Dean, School of Art at the Victorian College of the Arts from 1975 to 1981.
