About Ming Mackay
Born in the UK in 1918, Ming MacKay studied extensively in London before arriving in Adelaide to teach at the South Australian School of Arts. A portraitist and realist- expressionist painter in mixed media, pastel and oil, she has exhibited her work in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide and belongs to a number of art societies. She co-founded the Pastel Society of Victoria in 1987.
