Peata Larkin is an Auckland based artist and graduate of Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland University, and completed a Master of Fine Arts at RMIT University, Melbourne. He work shows the strong influence of her Maori culture. In 2006 she was the runner up in the Mazda Emerging Artist award and the recipient of the Molly Morpeth Canaday Award, and in 2018, received the Kaipara Wallace Arts Trust Award Residency at Altes Spital in Solothurn, Switzerland. She has been commisioned to create large scale works for ANZ Tower Auckland, Park Hyatt Auckland and the International Conference Centre, Auckland.
