Born in Sydney in 1956, Susan Howard studied at Julian Ashton School and other Sydney art schools. She has exhibited widely and won several awards, including the 1981 Portia Geach Prize. She moved to the Blue Mountains region of N S W and later to Hong Kong, France and Italy. She died in Italy in 2000.
