Chris Booth was born in Melbourne in 1971, and should not be confused with the New Zealand sculptor of the same name. He studied at Monash University. He participated in his first group exhibition in 1994 and has held solo exhibitions since 2003, in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane where he now lives. His art is influenced by mid century cartoons, graphics and comics.
