Graham Austin is a painter in acrylics, oils and watercolours. He studied at National Art School, East Sydney Technical College from 1958 to 1963. He has been a member of the Australian Watercolour Institute since 1972, and was President from 1989 to 2003 and a Life Member since 1997. He has been involved in many other art groups including Peninsula Art Society, Manly Art Gallery and Museum and Drummoyne Art Society. He has participated in solo and/or mixed exhibitions in Australia, USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, Malaysia, Korea, and Mexico. Graham Austin was awarded Order of Australia Medal [OAM] in 2006 for service to the visual arts as a painter, particularly through the Australian Watercolour Institute.
