About Sam Jinks
Sam Jinks was born in Bendigo in 1973. Starting as an illustrator, he became a super realist sculptor after employment in the film industry, working with silicone and latex to create anatomically correct representations of the human form. His first solo exhibition was in Melbourne in 2005, and since then he has held solo shows in Melbourne and Sydney, and overseas in Singapore, Taiwan, Greece and Ireland. His work has also been exhibited in solo shows in public galleries in provincial cities including Benalla, Shepparton, Sale and Rockhampton.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 2016.
