With no formal education, and originally a stockman for many years, Jock Mosquito Jubartjarri is an extremely talented Australian Aboriginal artist, whose work has been collected by the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra. He is a leading figure in Aboriginal Affairs in the Kimberley as well as a traditional elder.
