About McLean Edwards
Australian artist McLean Edwards was born in 1972 in Darwin and studied at the Canberra School of Art. He has held over 20 solo exhibitions since 1995 in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Jakarata, Indonesia. Edwards has been a finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize, twice in the Sulman Prize, and five times in the Art Gallery of New South Wales Archibald Prize in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2013. McLean Edwards lives and works in Sydney.
